Tax Attorney Recruiting Event
Welcome to our Tax Attorney Recruiting Event (TARE). Through TARE, the LL.M. in Taxation programs at Boston University School of Law, Northwestern University School of Law, and the University of Florida Levin College of Law have joined together to offer prospective employers a group of highly qualified candidates from which to recruit. We believe that employers in this specialized practice field, should be offered the opportunity to interview a variety of candidates who are interested in a range of opportunities in multiple geographic locations. We are confident that the TARE program will allow you to efficiently meet your recruitment needs.
TARE brings together more than 150 graduate tax students from three of the nation's leading Tax LL.M. programs and employers covering the spectrum of this specialized practice. Employers who participated last year included law firms large and small, government agencies, corporate legal departments and all four "Big 4" accounting firms.
This year, TARE will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at The St. Gregory Luxury Hotel & Suites, 2033 M Street NW, Washington, D.C.
TARE is a pre-screened program. Employers will be able to manage their accounts online through Symplicity and will have the opportunity to pre-screen résumés and select candidates with whom they wish to interview. Employers may participate by attending and interviewing students in person at TARE or by collecting resumes from participating students.
Employers may register to participate online through Symplicity TARE at https://law-tare-csm.symplicity.com/.
Students will be able to follow the links in the Student Menu to access the Students’ Handbook, the Students’ FAQs, Symplicity Instructions, or log in to their accounts to research employers, upload resumes, and bid for interviews.
