Starting in Fall 2012, students will be able to enroll in our new online tax LL.M. program option!* This innovative 24-credit option provides the same rigorous course of study as the traditional Graduate Tax Program, but delivers it in an award-winning, online format. The online option is ideal for domestic and internationally trained tax lawyers whose jobs preclude them from attending our traditional, on-site program in Boston. The online program option's flexible format allows students to begin working towards BU Law's LL.M. in Taxation in any of the three sessions - fall, spring or summer - and enroll in an attractive variety of tax courses. Students can complete the program in as few as 4 sessions of part-time study, or as many as 9 sessions.
Note: Federal Income Tax is a prerequisite or co-requisite for Corporate Tax and Partnership Tax as well as two electives, International Tax (4 credits) and Taxation of Financial Products (4 credits). (Requirements and prerequisites can be waived based on prior coursework.)
