Program Design
The Executive LL.M. program's design combines the best classroom experience in America with the most advanced use of interactive “distance” technology. Each “live” Boston-based class is followed by a minimum of 10 weeks of Internet-based learning, specifically designed to build upon and enhance the classroom experience. Using Boston University’s state-of-the-art technology, students will engage in faculty-supervised problem-solving assignments and exercises, and thus develop skills to address and resolve the real-world problems they will likely encounter in their transnational practices. All new students participate in a live orientation program in Boston covering U.S. legal methods and the American legal system during the weekend before their first classes begin. Students receive customized course materials prior to their arrivals and comprehensive course packets for each specific class they attend.
