Tours & Class Visits

To learn more about what life is like here at BU Law, we invite you to visit the School. During the academic year, we offer tours of the Law School led by current students. Tour groups will meet in the lobby of the Admissions Office, which is located on the 5th Floor of the George Sherman Union for the 2014-2015 academic year (775 Commonwealth Ave). Please call (617) 353-3100 if you have difficulty locating our office. No appointments are necessary for the guided tours.

In case of inclement weather, please check the BU Homepage for any closings or delays. Tours will not take place when the University is closed.

Summer 2015 Tour Schedule

The Admissions Office will hold one-hour tours and information sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer. Tours will begin at 1pm in the Law Admissions Office (5th floor of the George Sherman Union).

If you are visiting the Boston area but are not able to attend a scheduled tour, please contact the Admissions Office as other dates and times may also be available.

Your visit will consist of a walking tour of the law complex as well as a question-and-answer period with an Admissions Officer or current student. You are also welcome to schedule a one-on-one meeting with Admissions following the conclusion of your tour.

Please note that the University will be closed on Friday, July 3rd for observation of the Independence Day holiday.

Visitors are encouraged to call the Admissions Office at 617.353.3100 to confirm your tour date and time.If a guided tour time is not convenient for your visit, we encourage you to visit the Admissions Office between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday to pick up a self-guided tour packet. .

You are also welcome to attend a first-year class during the academic year. First-year class visits are not available during the first weeks of classes. For more information about the class schedule please contact the Admissions Office.
