Public Interest Project Auction

The Public Interest Project's annual student-run auction gala raised over $51,000 at this year's event. This enabled the group to offer summer grants to first- and second-year BU Law students who work in otherwise unpaid public interest and government internships. The grants allow these students to spend summers providing legal services to low-income clients, assisting in the prosecution of crime, protecting civil rights and working to improve the environment. Auction items included winemaking adventures, a getaway to Los Angeles and bar exam study packages.
