Public Interest Project Auction

Image of auction gabelThe Public Interest Project's annual student-run auction gala raised over $74,000 at this year's event. This enabled the group to offer summer grants to 84 applicants, first and second year BU Law students who work in otherwise unpaid public interest and government internships. The grants allow these students to spend summers providing legal services to low-income clients, assisting in the prosecution of crime, protecting civil rights and working to improve the environment. Auction items included winemaking adventures, a getaway to Los Angeles and bar exam study packages.
