Through the Government Lawyering Externship Program (GLEP), students work at a state or federal agency. Recent placements have included:

  • Office of the U.S. Attorney
  • Massachusetts Attorney General's Office
  • MassPORT
  • U.S. Department of the Interior

A weekly seminar explores topics examining:

  • The impact of politics on the work of a government lawyer
  • Ethical and moral considerations unique to government attorneys
  • How to determine who the “client” is for purposes of the attorney-client relationship
  • Interaction with other government agencies
