Through the Government Lawyering Externship Program (GLEP), students work at a state or federal agency. Recent placements have included:
- Office of the U.S. Attorney
- Massachusetts Attorney General's Office
- MassPORT
- U.S. Department of the Interior
A weekly seminar explores topics examining:
- The impact of politics on the work of a government lawyer
- Ethical and moral considerations unique to government attorneys
- How to determine who the “client” is for purposes of the attorney-client relationship
- Interaction with other government agencies
