Single Semester Option (Instruction in French)
French-speaking students interested in a fall semester in Paris have the opportunity to study at Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris II), one of the world's foremost legal institutions. Originally part of the Sorbonne Law School, Paris II is renowned for its excellence in international and comparative law.
Like the Lyon program, it offers an introductory class in French law and several courses from a broad range of electives. BU Law students can immerse themselves in European and French legal studies in one of the world's most captivating cities. Fall Semester.
Full-Year Dual Degree Option (Instruction in English)
In addition to the fall semester exchange program, BU Students also have the option of pursuing a full year of study at Paris II. Upon completing the year abroad in Paris, students receive both the J.D. degree from BU School of Law and an LL.M. in European Law from Université Panthéon-Assas. This program is available to qualified 3L students and instruction is offered entirely in English.
