Diversity at BU Law

Our students come from across the globe to receive a top-notch education at BU Law. In turn, a BU Law degree enables our alumni to accept positions globally. We have Howard Zhang (LL.M. '93), partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell, Beijing; Deborah Telman ('93), general counsel of Ports America Group, New Jersey; and Peninah Machoka (LL.M. '03) Secretariat of the United Nations Commissions on International Trade Law, Austria.

Home to over 30 student organizations, BU Law has numerous opportunities for students to get involved. Many of our student organizations work together to co-sponsor social, academic and professional events. Additionally, our affinity groups work closely with local and national organizations that promote their missions.
