Biography

Kathleen Phelps is of counsel in the energy transactions section of Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP’s Corporate & Business Transactions Group. She represents major institutional lenders and developers in a wide array of lending transactions, including project finance, commercial real estate, asset-based and bond financings, and large corporate finance, and has worked on the development and transfer of electric-generating facilities and other commercial real estate. In the area of renewables, her practice focuses on the development and permanent financing of wind, hydro, solar and biomass facilities across the US, and the purchase and sale of Solar Renewable Energy Certificates in The Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She teaches Introduction to Project Finance in the Banking and Finance Law Program.
