Adam J. Harmon

Assistant Director, Alternative and Emerging Careers


Prior to joining the Career Development Office in 2018, Adam practiced as a corporate law attorney, primarily focused on venture capital, mergers and acquisition and clean tech energy project finance as an associate at the law firm, Foley Hoag LLP, in Boston. As an attorney, Adam was actively involved in leadership of the firm’s LGBTQ and attorneys of color affinity groups.

He is from San Diego, CA and received his undergraduate degree from the United States Military Academy where he majored in International Relations with an Environmental Engineering track. He served for 16 years in the United States Army where he is currently a Major in the Military Intelligence branch. Following his time on Active Duty, he graduated from Boston College Law School, and now serves on the mentorship committee of the Massachusetts LGBT Bar Association.
