BU Law Celebrates Pro Bono Accomplishments in 2013-2014

bu law pro bono award recipientsOn April 7th, the Boston University School of Law community gathered for the Year-End Pro Bono Celebration to applaud students, faculty, staff and alumni completing pro bono work during the 2013-2014 academic year. In addition to recognizing all graduating students who completed their voluntary pro bono pledge, the following individuals were honored for their outstanding commitment to pro bono and public service:

Professor David McHaffey (’95)

Elizabeth McIntyre (’14)
Recipient of the 2014 J.D. Pro Bono Award, given to the J.D. student completing the most pro bono hours over the past three years

Zhaokun Duan (LL.M. ’14)
Recipient of the 2014 LL.M. Pro Bono Award, given to the LL.M. student completing the most pro bono hours over the last year

Through BU Law's Pro Bono Program, administered by the Career Development and Public Interest Office, students dedicate their developing legal skills to unmet legal needs in the Boston area, throughout the United States and around the world.
