BU Law's LL.M. in Taxation Program Ranked Top 5 in Nation by Tax Hiring Authorities
New data released by JobsInTax.com on Tuesday ranks Boston University School of Law's LL.M. in Taxation Program #5 in the nation, according to tax hiring authorities.
JobsInTax.com, part of the TaxTalent network, surveyed 151 heads of corporate tax departments, asking them to select up to five schools (out of 32) with LL.M. tax programs that they hold in the highest regard when hiring candidates. Rankings were determined based on the total number of votes received by each school.
"For decades we have been advising tax professionals on their careers, and the discussion inevitably starts with the appropriate educational choices," said TaxTalent president Tony Santiago upon release of the survey results.
Established in 1959, BU Law's Graduate Tax Program was one of the first of its kind in the country and continues to lead the field in strength of curriculum and innovation. This fall the LL.M. in Taxation will be offered for the first time in a cutting-edge online format, ideal for domestic and internationally trained tax lawyers whose jobs preclude them from attending the traditional on-site program in Boston.
