"Arbitration in Cambodia – Promoting Economic and Social Harmony: A Round Table Discussion Comparing the Use of ADR in Cambodia and in the U.S." In Cambodia, a voluntary arbitration system primarily is used to settle labor and employment disputes in lieu of judicial proceedings. Please join us for a discussion with a group of Cambodian arbitrators from the Cambodian Arbitration Council who will discuss how and why their voluntary arbitration system works and how they expect use of this system to expand to other issues. U.S. practitioners and faculty specializing in labor and employment and ADR will also discuss the use of ADR in the U.S. Reception to follow, 5-6:30pm, LAW 1270.
