Ruth Adeyinka, Esq. serves as the Court Service Center Community Engagement Manager here in Boston for the Massachusetts Court Service Center. She will come to campus to discuss common legal issues faced by self-represented litigants, the major court departments and their jurisdictions, access to justice issues and the social service resources as they relate to this program. There are exciting volunteer opportunities available for students here in Boston who are interested in learning about access to justice issues in the court system and working with the Court Service Center. The Massachusetts Court Service Center seeks to provide comprehensive legal assistance and access to resources for self-represented litigants (litigants without attorneys) at multi-department courthouses throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Court Service Centers have been established in Boston, Brockton, Greenfield, Lawrence, Springfield, and Worcester.
