Career Trek: Committee for Public Counsel Services The Public Defender Agency of Massachusetts

Visit the Roxbury Office of the public defender agency of Massachusetts and learn about what it is like to provide legal representation for those unable to afford an attorney in all matters in which the law requires the appointment of counsel. This includes representation in criminal, delinquency, youthful offender, child welfare, mental health, sexually dangerous person and sex offender registry cases, as well as related appeals and post-conviction matters. Attorneys from the Public Defender, Children and Family Law, Youth Advocacy, and Mental Health Litigation Divisions will discuss their work and be available for questions.
