Theologies and Practice of Healing Justice in a Time of State Violence

This interactive retreat will focus on designing approaches to healing and restorative justice, facilitated by Najeeba Syeed. Professor Syeed is a peacemaker, healer, scholar and lawyer. She is an Associate Professor of Interreligious Education and Director, Center for Global Peacemaking, at Claremont School of Theology. Professor Syeed is an award-winning scholar and practitioner in the areas of faith based restorative justice, just peacemaking and community development and organizing. She has served as an expert interventionist in conflicts ranging from interracial gang mediation to interfaith community disputes. If you wish to attend please email rct@bu.edu by September 8th
