BU Law welcomes Heather K. Gerken, J. Skelly Wright Professor of Law at Yale Law School, as our 2014 Annual Distinguished Lecturer. Her talk, “The Interlocking Gears of Rights and Structure: Why The Critics are Wrong About United States v. Windsor,” will focus on the relationship between equality, on the one hand, and federalism, on the other, and offer a perspective on Justice Kennedy's opinion. The lecture will be published in the Boston University Law Review. Additional details will be posted as soon as they are available.
