Jonathan E. Anderman is an associate in Holland & Knight's Boston office and a member of the firm's Healthcare & Life Sciences Team, White Collar Defense and Investigations Team and the Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Group. He advises clients on healthcare regulatory matters, fraud, abuse, and compliance matters, and corporate transactional matters in various sectors of the healthcare industry, including pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, pharmacies (retail, specialty, long-term care and mail order), pharmacy benefits managers, insurers, venture capital and private equity investors, and e-health and technology companies. Mr. Anderman has experience assisting clients in internal investigations and in matters before state and federal regulatory and law enforcement authorities, such as the Department of Justice, United States Attorney offices, State Attorney General offices, and the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services. He also assists in a variety of corporate and contractual transactions for healthcare and life sciences companies, including mergers and acquisitions, financing, product development and supply, licensing, technology transfer, joint ventures, and various other service and supply chain transactions. In addition to his practice, Mr. Anderman is active in the healthcare industry and in the community. He is an author and co-editor of the Practising Law Institute's Corporate Compliance Answer Book. Mr. Anderman is a 2012 graduate of LeadBoston, an executive leadership program focused on civic engagement and social responsibility. While in law school, Mr. Anderman founded Boston University's chapter of the Student Hurricane Network, a national association of law students providing legal assistance to communities affected by Hurricane Katrina. He led multiple trips of law students to New Orleans to complete post-Katrina pro bono legal work and continues to do so today. He also has extensive international volunteer experience, most frequently working with medical clinics in Honduras. Sign-ups will be available outside of the PIP Office.
