Constitutional Dimensions of the Doctor-Patient Relationship
Constitutional law has defined the intellectual and political dimensions of much of American bioethics. The extent to which physicians (and patients) should be satisfied with the Court's post Roe v. Wade jurisprudence, especially at the beginning and end
of life, will be explored, and other arenas for addressing contemporary physician-patient conflicts, such as force feeding at Guantanamo, and genetic screening without informed consent, will be suggested.
