  • Starts: 5:00 pm on Tuesday, April 9, 2013
  • Ends: 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 9, 2013
Interested in Immigration Law? Wondering what practicing immigration law is like? Come to an Informational & Networking event hosted by the Immigration Law and Policy Society and LALSA. We will have 8-10 practitioners from various types of practices and legal services organizations present. Each practitioner will briefly discuss what their day-to-day is like, what their practices are like, the challenges of their type of practice, and advice on immigration law, generally. Then we will break into networking where you can speak to the practitioners one on one. We have practitioners who started their own practice, from legal services organizations, from a medium sized firm as well as attorneys from a large immigration firm specializing in business immigration. Food and drink will be provided! Guests include: Supervising Attorney from Catholic Charities in Boston; Skadden Fellow/Attorney from CLSSAC in Cambridge; Attorneys from Araujo & Fisher LLC (who recently started their own practice); Attorneys from Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP; and Attorneys from Barker, Epstein, Loscocco & McHaffey. If you have questions, please contact Stephanie Pimentel at stephanie.s.pimentel@gmail.com.
