In just three hours, you will learn strategies and best practices for planning for your future as an entrepreneurial lawyer, developing business and fostering client relationships, and using technology to efficiently and cost-effectively manage your law office. About the Faculty: Rodney Dowell is the Director of the Massachusetts Law Office Management Assistance Program (LOMAP). Massachusetts LOMAP assists attorneys in establishing and institutionalizing professional office practices and procedures. Its mission is to increase attorneys’ ability to deliver high quality legal services, strengthen client relationships and enhance attorneys’ quality of life. LOMAP provides this assistance through its consulting services, reference materials, educational programs and referrals. A regular writer and presenter on client management issues, Rodney has 18 years of litigation experience in attorney malpractice defense, insurance coverage and employment law, has started two small firms, and was primarily responsible for implementing technology and client management programs at his firm, Berman and Dowell. Alan Klevan is the founder of Law Practice Strategies, a consulting firm dedicated to helping entrepreneurial attorneys reach their career goals and implement practices and procedures in their offices that will help improve their quality of life. Along with his wife, Alan is also a principle of Klevan & Klevan, LLP, where he focuses primarily on employment and tort law, and Co-Chair of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Law Practice Management Section and the Education Committee.
