Professor Marathas is a partner in the Boston office of Proskauer Rose LLP, an international law firm with approximately 800 lawyers providing legal services in major cities around the world. Professor Marathas provides advice on executive compensation and employee benefits matters to public and private, not-for-profit and governmental employers. He provides advice and counsel on executive and compensation matters in complex and sophisticated corporate transactions. He also occasionally represents high-level executives in the negotiation of employment and severance agreements. Professor Marathas is the co-author of a Tax Management Portfolio on ERISA Litigation and has published frequently in leading tax and benefits journals and leading general publications. Professor Marathas is a former Peace Corps Volunteer, having served in Ghana, West Africa. He has been a member of the adjunct faculty since 2008.
