Avi M. Lev is a partner with Hinckley, Allen & Snyder, LLP in Boston, where he provides tax planning and transactional advice, and represents taxpayers in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and state tax authorities. He has been a senior tax attorney with Davis, Malm & D'Agostine, P.C., a tax associate at Sullivan and Worcester, and a tax associate at PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Lev lectures frequently on tax topics; he has taught taxation classes through Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education and through Northeastern University's M.A. Taxation program; he has also taught business law classes at the college level. Mr. Lev received his B.A. magna cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his J.D. from the University of Oregon Law School. He earned his LL.M. in Taxation from the Boston University School of Law in 2002, graduating first in his class. Avi Lev is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and the Oregon Bar, and is admitted to practice before the Internal Revenue Service and the United States Tax Court.
