Gary M. Welsh

Gary Welsh has been in the Regulatory Advisory Services practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Washington, D.C. area since 1995. He has over 30 years experience in bank and financial services regulation. Mr. Welsh engages in financial sector consulting for U.S. and non-U.S. banks, investment banks, insurance firms, foreign governments, central banks and financial regulatory agencies. Prior to joining PwC, he was general counsel of the Institute of International Bankers in New York City, the principal trade association for foreign banks in the United States. He has also been a partner in a Washington, D.C. law firm and was an assistant general counsel of the Federal Reserve Board in Washington. He teaches International Financial Services Regulation.
