Kathleen Phelps is of counsel in Bingham McCutchen LLP's Energy and Project Finance Group. Since joining Bingham in 1995, she has represented major institutional lenders and developers in a wide array of lending transactions, including project finance, commercial real estate, asset-based and bond financings, and large corporate finance, and has worked on the development and transfer of electric-generating facilities and other commercial real estate. In the last several years, Ms. Phelps has represented major institutional lenders in the development and permanent financing of a number of wind, hydro, solar and biomass facilities across the U.S. She co-teaches Introduction to Project Finance.
