J.D.s: The BU Law regalia you pick up from Barnes & Noble should be red, not black, and look like this:

Everyone who participates in an academic ceremony on Commencement day must wear a cap and gown of the appropriate color and style, as approved by the University. Academic dress will be available at Barnes & Noble at Boston University in March - May 1.

Students who placed orders with B & N representatives on March 27 at the Law School may pick up their regalia at Barnes & Nobles, located at 660 Beacon St, starting April 20th.

If you are visiting another campus this semester, you will need to order your regalia directly through BU B&N. You can call 617-236-7401, or email bucapsandgowns@hotmail.com

To receive your deposit back, return rented regalia immediately following Commencement on May 18 to the drop-off locations manned by Barnes & Noble staff, located to the left and right of the Agganis Arena lobby between 8:00 and 9:30 p.m.


Note: If your regalia are not returned in full at this time, you will not receive a deposit refund.
