All-University Commencement Information
Commencement day activities begin at 9:00 a.m. with a Baccalaureate Service in Marsh Chapel. Commencement begins at 11:00 a.m. Tickets are not required for admission to Nickerson Field.
The faculty procession will form in the West Campus Dining Room. The entrance to this area is via the walkway on Commonwealth Avenue, adjacent to 985 Commonwealth Avenue. University Marshals will direct faculty to their robing area.

School of Law Commencement & Reception Information
When/Where: Sunday, May 18, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at the Agganis Arena, 925 Commonwealth Avenue.

Faculty Procession:
Please arrive at the Media Room by 5:00 p.m. for line-up. Enter via side entrance marked "Feld Public Skating" on Harry Agganis Way across from the Boston University Police Department. There will be directional signage and staff available for assistance. Light refreshments will be available in the Media Room.

The faculty procession will enter the arena from the Terrier Bench exit under section 113. View map
Student Procession Information:
Graduates are assembling in the North Storage Room at 5:00 p.m.. The procession will move into the arena at 5:30 p.m. and Commencement begins at 6:00 p.m.
Reception:
Immediately following the Law Convocation, there will be a Reception for graduates, guests and faculty on the lower level gymnasium at the Fitness and Recreation Center from 8:00-9:30 p.m.
Parking & Transportation
Unless used as a convocation site, all University parking facilities will be open, without charge, for general commencement parking. Please note that for the All-University commencement ceremony, the Babcock Street parking lot is reserved for handicapped parking, but will open after 3 p.m. for general parking. Morning access to the Babcock parking area requires a special permit obtained in advance from the Office of Disability Services, 617.353.3658. For afternoon convocations, portions of all other open lots will be reserved for handicapped parking; contact Disability Services for additional information.
In anticipation of heavy traffic and limited parking spaces on-campus and along Commonwealth Avenue, we urge you to leave your vehicle where you are staying and use public transportation.
For your convenience, shuttle buses will operate continuously along Commonwealth Avenue to transport guests to Nickerson Field and on-campus convocation sites. Service hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The buses will stop upon request.
