JD 769 (A1) M/W 4:20-6:20 4 credits, Spring Professor Hillinger

This course explores bankruptcy for entities as opposed to individuals. It focuses principally on chapter 11 reorganization for businesses (corporations and partnerships), but covers chapter 7 liquidation as well. The course adopts a problem-solving approach. Secured Transactions is recommended but not required. Students should take this course if they plan to practice any type of business law – litigation as well as transactional.
