Marshall A. Gallop, Jr. (LL.M. ’77) Named North Carolina "Super Lawyer"

Marshall A. Gallop, Jr. (LL.M. ’77), of law firm Battle, Winslow, Scott & Wiley P.A, has been named a North Carolina "Super Lawyer” by North Carolina Super Lawyers magazine.

The magazine, an annual publication from Law and Politics, ranked Gallop in the top 5% of North Carolina lawyers. Super Lawyer status is enjoyed by those deemed by their peers to have attained a high degree of professional achievement.

Gallop was recognized primarily for his work in health care law, which can encompass a comprehensive range of services catering to large as well as small health care providers. Specialized areas of practice include, but are not limited to, hospital and medical staff organization; fraud and abuse; mental health, including involuntary commitment; and HIV and other blood-borne pathogens.

In addition to his expertise in the field of heath care, Gallop also has an extensive practice in the areas of civil litigation and insurance law, mediation and arbitration.
