ExamSoft Information

We offer J.D., LL.M. and Exchange students who have a laptop that meets certain minimum specifications the option to take their in-class final exams on their laptops. Students who elect this option use software called SofTest from the company ExamSoft Worldwide. The software blocks access to all applications and stored files during the exam administration, and blocks access to the Internet and instant messenger. Over 125 law schools in the U.S. and Canada and over 37 state bars are using SofTest with excellent results.

Spring 2014 ExamSoft Registration opened on March 24th and will run until April 23, 2014. If you do not register for this software by the deadline you will have to hand-write your exams.

Please note that any American Law, IP, or Visiting Exchange student who signs up to use ExamSoft and later decides to hand-write one or more exams, must notify the Assistant Director, Shannon Supitkowsky immediately. Please indicate for which exam(s) you no longer wish to use ExamSoft.
