Student Activities
Throughout the academic year students participate in a rich academic environment strengthened by such activities as “brown bag lunch” discussion seminars, enjoy social events with fellow Banking and Financial Law students as well as shared activities with students in BU Law’s other LL.M. programs.
LL.M.S IN ACTION! A day of service at the Greater Boston Food Bank: each student's work helped make 125 meals possible. |
Student lectures during have included presentations on risk-based capital adequacy framework in the Philippines, reforms in the Japanese financial market, an overview of the Polish banking system, and an introduction to the Brazilian Consorcio.
The academic environment is further enriched by the Morin Center’s array
of conferences, shorter programs and guest lecturers, including the Edward Lane- Reticker Speaker Series.
Social activities include receptions, baseball games, bowling, a “pot luck” dinner and a ski trip.
