ABA Guidelines for Law School Student Employees
The following are the American Bar Association (ABA) rules and School of Law guidelines that all law school students employees must follow.
- An ABA rule states: "A student may not work in excess of 20 hours per week while attending school on a full time basis."
- During the summer term, a law school student employee may work up to 40 hours a week. The first day of the summer term is the Monday after Commencement. The last day of the summer term is the Sunday before Labor Day.
