Visiting Exchange Students

Welcome to Boston University School of Law!   

Policy for Exchange Students Applying to a BU Law LL.M. Program
Beginning with the students who were in residence during the fall 2006 semester, former exchange students who subsequently apply -- and receive admission -- to a BU Law LL.M. program will be allowed to apply a maximum of 18 credits they received as exchange students towards the LL.M. degree. This means they will receive “advanced standing” as LL.M. students and be in a position to receive the BU Law LL.M. degree with only one additional semester of study.  For more information, contact the OGIP.
