The Transactional Law Program spearheads BU Law's participation in the Transactional LawMeet®, the premier regional and national competition for students interested in a transactional practice. The LawMeet® allows students to experience live competition while developing and honing transactional practice skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for 2Ls and 3Ls who are considering transactional practice as a career to challenge and distinguish themselves and to get a real sense of how practitioners resolve difficult business problems and legal issues through contract negotiation and drafting.
Detailed information concerning the Transactional LawMeet®, including a tentative schedule of events, can be found at its website.
An “internal” competition is held at BU Law in the fall to select one team to represent the School at the New England Regional Meet, at which participants for the National Meet will be chosen. For updates, events and information about the "internal" competition, please see the related blog.
