Awards Recognizing Pro Bono Work
Every year, we recognize our students, faculty and alumni who have engaged in pro bono work. In the Fall, an alumnus is presented with the Victor J. Garo, Esq. Award for their pro bono service.
In the Spring, BU Law hosts a Year-End Pro Bono Celebration during which a faculty member and alumnus are presented respectively with a Alumni Pro Bono Award and a Faculty Pro Bono Award in recognition of their life-long commitment pro bono work. Additionally, the 3L with the highest number of pro bono hours completed will receive an award at the Year End Pro Bono Celebration. Below is a list of past award recipients and honorary speakers:
