Kristy Nardone joined Ropes & Gray LLP in 2006 as the firms' first Pro Bono Manager. Along with the firm's Pro Bono Committee, Ms. Nardone is responsible for firm wide development and communication of pro bono opportunities and trainings, internal and external; coordination of staffing, troubleshooting, and supervising for pro bono matters; and management of the firm's pro bono and philanthropic-related charitable contributions. Prior to Ropes & Gray LLP, Ms. Nardone was a supervising attorney at the Victim Rights Law Center (VRLC), the first law center in the nation solely dedicated to serving the civil legal needs of sexual assault survivors. While at the VRLC, she also served as the senior attorney of the center's training and technical assistance project for 200 government-funded legal service programs throughout the country. Before her work with the VRLC, Ms. Nardone was an associate with Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky & Popeo PC, where her legal work focused on criminal litigation in federal court. Ms. Nardone received her B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin (1994) and her J.D. from Boston College (1999). |
