Carolyn Rosenthal is a graduate of Boston University School of Law the Pro Bono Manager at Goodwin Procter LLP, resident in the Boston office. In that role she is responsible for working with the Pro Bono Committee to create and implement an organized pro bono program including revising the Pro Bono Policy and Procedures, developing reports and statistics for firm management and national reporting groups, facilitating pro bono requests, networking with local and national legal services programs to identify pro bono opportunities, publicizing pro bono cases and training opportunities, integrating all firm offices into the pro bono program, and publicizing pro bono activities both within the firm and outside.

Carolyn joined Goodwin Procter in 1998 as the Staffing Manager of the Corporate Department, then transitioned to the Pro Bono Manager position in 1999. Prior to that, she served as the Executive Director the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts of Massachusetts, the Interim Director of the Lawyers Clearinghouse and was in private practice in New Hampshire. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the ABA’s Business Section Pro Bono Committee, she is the Co-founder and Co-chair of the Boston Pro Bono Roundtable, and a member of Pro Bono Manager/Partner organizations in New York, D.C. and the Bay Area. She also currently serves on the Boston Bar Foundation Grantee Selection Committee.
