Program Requirements

  • Four School of Law courses, which the College of Communication applies toward the M.S. degree*
  • Eight courses at the College of Communication:
    1. Contemporary Mass Communication
    2. Writing for Media Professionals
    3. New Communication Technologies
    4. Computers in Communication
    5. Four electives.
  • Master's thesis or professional project.

*There are no specific LAW courses required; suggested courses include Administrative Law (preferably by end of second year of law school) and Antitrust Law.
Other suggested LAW courses-Commercial Code; Copyright or Intellectual Property; Corporations; Corporate Finance; Corporate Tax; Federal Courts; Local Government Law; Federal Taxation.
