Faculty Specializing in Intellectual Property Law
Much of the excitement of intellectual property law derives from its pivotal role in the use and implementation of emerging technologies, and many of the legal questions these pose are without precedent or clarity. At BU Law, our internationally-known faculty of scholars, breadth of curriculum choices and diverse student body of individuals with backgrounds in high-technology, engineering, biotechnology, publishing, the arts and entertainment together equip the law student to address complex intellectual property issues at an advanced level. Because BU Law has strong relationships with the legal community and high technology industry in the greater Boston area, the program is enriched by practitioners who bring practical expertise to the program.
Professor Wendy Gordon is the faculty advisor for the Intellectual Property Concentration. Students who have questions about the substantive aspects of the concentration may contact Professor Gordon (617-353-4420). Questions concerning the administrative details should be directed to Associate Dean Gerry Muir (room 511B).
