Applying to Clinics
Each spring the Office of Clinical and Advocacy Programs seeks applicants from current 1L and 2L students for participation as 2Ls and 3Ls in the following academic year.
We have several applications, so please read carefully:
The General Clinical Program Application is now live. Programs included in this application include: Civil Litigation Program, Criminal Law Clinic, all legislative programs, Health Law Externship Program, Legal Externship Program, and Government Lawyering Externship Program. The Application period closes Friday, April 27. Students rank their preferences, and selection is based on lottery, with priority going to 3Ls.
The following clinics have a separate application process:

For the Judicial Externship Program, the fall '12 program is closed. The application for the spring '13 program will be available in September. Please see the JEP website for more details.
Applications for the spring '13 Immigration Detention Clinic will be available in the fall. Because Immigration Law is a pre-requisite, only current or former students in Immigration Law will be contacted about how to apply.
Students interested in Community Courts should sign up directly during course registration.
Finally, please see the Semester-in-Practice Program page for more information about applying to the SiP.
