Selection Procedures
After the deadline has pased, the applications are ordered according to their indicated preferences, with third year students (currenly 2L) receiving priority over second year students (currently first year). Competitive open spaces in the programs are filled with random selection among those who indicated the particular program as their first choice.
No one will be admitted to more than one program. If a student is not accepted into his/her first choice, the student will be considered for his/her second choice in the event that space is still available in that program. However, because third year students receive preference, a prospective 3L will be placed in their second choice before prospective 2Ls are placed. Any student who is not accepted into their preferred choice will be put on a waiting list for that program. The order of the waitlist is also randomly selected after prospective third-year students receive priority.

Acceptance and Waitlist Notification
Within two weeks following the application deadline, the accepted lists and waitlists for each program will be posted here on the website and also in the 12th floor Office of Clinical and Advocacy Programs. Accepted students can expect to receive an e-mail from their program director after that time, and it is important that you respond to confirm your place in the program as soon as possible. Waitlisted students for each program will also receive an e-mail notification soon after. If you decide that you do not want to be on a waitlist for a particular program, please notify the Office of Clinical and Advocacy Programs so that you name can be taken off of the list.
IF YOU ARE WAITLISTED, PLEASE NOTIFY THE OFFICE OF ANY PHONE NUMBER OR E-MAIL CHANGES DURING THE SUMMER. IN THE EVENT THAT SPACES OPEN IN A PROGRAM, YOU WILL BE CONTACTED WITH AN OFFER OF ACCEPTANCE.
