Full-Year Option (English-Language Instruction):
Dual Degree Program - J.D./LL.M in European Law
In addition to the fall semester exchange program, BU Students also have the option of pursuing a full year abroad at Paris II.
Upon completing the year abroad in Paris, students receive both the J.D. degree from BU School of Law and an LL.M. in European Law from Université Panthéon-Assas.
This program is available to qualified 3L students and instruction is offered entirely in English.
Single Semester Option* (French-Language Instruction): 
*Due to renovations, the Paris II Single Semester Option will be suspended for Fall 2009. This however, will not affect the Full-Year Option.
BU Law’s fall semester exchange program in France is with Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris II), in Paris, one of the world’s foremost legal institutions. Originally part of the Sorbonne Law School, Paris II is renown for its excellence in comparative and international law.
Through this fall program, up to two BU Law students can immerse themselves in European and French legal studies in one of the world's most captivating cities. BU Law students are expected to take at least three courses, two of which have seminar components, in addition to the class, Introduction to French law. French language fluency is required.
