Private Loan Sources
Law students may consider borrowing an education loan through a private lender in addition to their other sources of funding. These loans are credit-based and approval is not guaranteed.
You are welcome to use any lender of your choice; you are not limited to the products identified by Boston University or the School of Law. You should evaluate all loan products carefully in light of your particular circumstances.
All applicants for private educational loans are required to complete a self-certification form. Information regarding this self-certification, as well as links to the "Private Education Loan Applicant Self-Certification" form and required "cost of attendance" information may be found here.
