Help Desk
The computer lab in Room 316 has an on-duty Help Desk staff. The staff is there to tackle PC and printer hardware and software questions, and can also troubleshoot wireless and logging-in problems.

Wil Khouri, Director
Wil holds dual Master of Science degrees in Medical Laboratory Science and Computer Science. While enrolled for the Ph.D. program in Biomedical Sciences, Wil became progressively more interested in computers and switched tracks. He has been working in the Information Technology field since the early 1990's.
Prior to his appointment as Director of Systems & Technology at Boston University School of Law, Wil was the Director of Technical Operations at Veridiem Inc., a software company that provided enterprise software and services that enable corporations to improve marketing effectiveness. Wil served as a Chief Information Officer where he contributed to its national expansion by building its collaboration, network and computing infrastructure. Before City Year, Wil held various positions as a Systems and Information Support Specialist at Northeastern University.
In 2001, Wil joined the Office of Systems & Technology at BULAW as Director. In this capacity, he heads three groups, technical operations and help desk services, database development and programming, and the audio/visual department. With a permanent staff of 8 full-time and approximately 20 student employees, he plans, allocates, and approves the yearly budget for this office, and works on developing long term strategies and vision as a launching pad for acquisition, testing and deployment of technology at BULAW.
Wil’s interests are as complex as his personality ranging from linguistics, transliteration, history, archeology, cognition, longevity, nutrition supplementation, scripting and programming, automation, and immunology. He blogs his interests and findings at cadmeia.com. He also enjoys ethnic cuisine, loves indoor wall climbing and is an accomplished nunchaku-do martial artist.
Chris Conley, Analyst / Consultant I
Chris is a Boston University graduate with a degree in Electrical Engineering. During his enrollment he spent over two years as a student worker for the Computer Systems department. Chris’s knowledge of technology spans a large spectrum from network design and web development all the way to microprocessor programming and electromagnetism. In his senior year, Chris developed an automated system that would electronically track the location and activities of vehicles in parking lots using Radio Frequency Identification. He plans to further his knowledge in Digital Tracking Systems as well as continue his education in business management. As an undergrad, Chris was also on the BU snowboarding team from 2005-07 and wrestled for the BU in 2004. In his spare time, during the warm months at least, he can be found riding through the suburbs on his Harley.
Tom Denault, Analyst / Consultant I
Tom returns to Boston University School of Law after working as a student for Audio / Visual Services from 2003 to 2005. Tom graduated from BU with a B.A. in political science in 2005, and has since worked in CRM support and website support and user-acceptance testing in concert with web development and business analysis teams for Forrester Research, Inc., a leading global technology and market research company. Tom’s current duties include managing BULAW's computing labs, developing and implementing new student-centric technology initiatives, and assisting with desktop services.
Joseph Green, Analyst / Consultant II
After graduating High School in 1987, Joe worked for 10 years as a Switchgear Mechanic, building switchgear for emergency generator systems. After leaving that company he followed his love for music. He was a singer for a band and worked as a stage hand setting up for concerts at Great Woods of Performing Arts, tinkering with computers all the while. He learned PC hardware, DOS and Windows 3.1. In 2001, he decided to go back to school. Then in 2003 he graduated from ITT Technological Institute in Norwood with oustanding academic credentials. Joe received an Associates of Applied Science degree in Computer Networking Systems and became a member of Alpha Beta Kappa Honors society. He has worked with computers for approximately 10 years. In his spare time Joe enjoys building gaming computers and helping others with computer related problems. His last job was as Systems Administrator for Verdasys, Inc.
Michael Micale, Senior Systems Support Analyst
Mike is currently completing his MBA degree at Boston University with a focus on International Management. Mike holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. While working in the accounting field, Mike found many tasks become improved through automation and became interested in the field of computer technology.
Prior to his current appointment, Mike worked in funds management for a variety of corporations including Bank of America and Fidelity. After switching into IT, he worked as an Email Administrator for FleetBoston and Sovereign Bank where he contributed to a worldwide email upgrade from Lotus cc:Mail to Microsoft Exchange.
Mike is also an accomplished technical trainer and curriculum developer for the Millennium Training Institute. He holds a vendor certification from Microsoft as an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer). He also holds various IT industry certifications from the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) in the following areas: Security+, A+, Network+ and i-Net+.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys cultural travel and events, reading and learning foreign languages, playing and watching sports of all kinds, and playing PC games.
Michael Waecker, Audio / Visual Support Specialist
Michael Waecker has his BS in Electrical Engineering from Boston University’s College of Engineering, and is currently enrolled in the MBA program at BU’s School of Management. Mike has had a deep interest in the audio/visual world since his childhood, and plans to continue pursuing this by obtaining his CTS from InfoComm, as well as his CCP from Crestron. For now, he is applying his knowledge of the A/V world by managing the Audio/Visual department at Boston University’s School of Law, and is utilizing any new information from his training there, as well.
