Floor Plan - Second Floor
Pappas Law Library
You’ll now access the law library on the second floor, just one flight of stairs above the atrium. Here you’ll find the circulation and reference desks, reserve books and scanners. Look for the stairway on your left when you enter through the glass doors for a shortcut to the third floor. You can make yourself at home in the familiar Pappas Reading Room or head down to the lower level for the group study rooms and graduate study room. The reading room contains primary federal and state collections, legal periodicals, computer workstations, catalog kiosks, and microforms.
The second floor boasts a spacious student lounge area with beautiful views of the Charles River. In the Commons, you can get breakfast, lunch, and snacks while reading the paper or talking with friends. There are also refrigerators and microwaves you can use if you prefer to bring your own lunch. The café serves free coffee and tea every Wednesday morning from 8:00-11:00am, courtesy of Dean O’Rourke. Check the bulletin board just inside the Commons for the latest student programming or stop by a student group table on your way in.
Three more of your classrooms are found on the second floor. Still no elevator required! The fastest access will be from the atrium stairs.
*For elevator access to the classrooms or the dining space, select “2” on the elevator. For access to the Pappas Law Library, select “2L” on the elevator.
