Law School Facilities
The Sumner M. Redstone Building is a 93,000-square-foot, five-story building that sits adjacent to the 17-story law tower. During the 2014-15 academic year, the law tower will be closed for renovations.
The Redstone Building houses most of the law school's classrooms and the law library, offers comfortable study and gathering spaces throughout the building, and features a student commons with a dining area on the second floor that overlooks the Charles River.
The Career Development & Public Service Office, Legal Writing & Appellate Advocacy Program,Graduate & International Programs, Registrar’s Office and Student Affairs are now located in the Redstone Building. The SGA’s office is on the first floor and other student organizations have dedicated meeting space on the third floor. All student lockers are located in the Redstone Building.
Due to the renovation of the law tower, the faculty, along with the Development & Alumni Relations staff, have moved their offices to 910 Commonwealth Avenue. The Dean’s Office is now located in the basement level of the College of Arts & Sciences, and the Offices of Admissions & Financial Aid and Communications & Marketing have relocated to the fifth floor of the GSU.
