The Young Alumni Council (YAC) is Boston University School of Law's direct line to young alumni. It was created by young alumni to help the Esdaile Alumni Center better serve the needs and wants of the School's large young alumni (less than 10 years out) population both locally and nationally. The main goal is to keep young alumni involved with the School through social events, service events, networking, fundraising and any other way they see fit.
The YAC consists of a national board, based in Boston, which oversees the activities of YAC members and regional chapters. YAC members outside of Boston will represent the School in their area. Regions with large concentrations of young alumni can form regional chapters, which will be responsible for planning local events and fundraisers with the help of the national board and Esdaile Alumni Center. There are currently chapters in Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Washington, D.C.
