Make a Gift: 3L Class Gift

The Class of 2005 launched the Class Gift Program as a way to leave a lasting legacy at the School. Each year the 3L class comes together, led by the Class Gift Committee, to promote and develop their class gift. The committee makes a gift commitment and promotes the class gift program among their peers.

Class of 2010

Join us in launching a tradition of investment in our soon-to-be alma mater. Building on the success of the 2009 class, the 2010 3L Class Gift will be designated to the Law Annual Fund, which will be used for financial aid, LRAP, and to support job placement and current Career Development initiatives. This year, Dean O'Rourke used $200,000 from the Annual Fund to support financial aid, and will do so again next year.

This is your opportunity to say thank you and show appreciation to someone special in your life, as well as make a difference in the lives of your classmates. In honor of the Class of 2010, we ask that you make a gift of $20.10 or even $2,010 (you wouldn’t be the first)! Of course a gift of any amount will make a significant difference for a BU Law student.

For a minimum of $20.10, you can honor a professor, an administrator, your parents, or someone who has made an impact on your legal education. Certificates of your appreciation will be available for you to deliver to your honoree, and their names will be listed in the Commencement Brochure.

Money raised by the 2010 Class Gift will be directed to the Annual Fund which contributes to a wide range of student support, including PIP, financial aid, LRAP, job placement and Career Development Office programs. Last year, Dean O’Rourke used more than $200,000 from the Annual Fund to support these initiatives, and will do so again this year.

The class gift is our opportunity, as we become alumni, to recognize the long legacy of alumni support for the School and to do our part in building the value of the Boston University Law degree. All gifts and pledges recieved by June 30 will count toward the goal. Final 3L Class Gift totals will be posted after June 30.
