Thank you for a successful Alumni Reunion Weekend 2014!
Over 350 alumni traveled back to Boston University School of Law for Reunion Weekend 2014, held September 19-20. On Friday, the Redstone Building Dedication drew a standing-room-only crowd in Robert T. Butler Atrium, the new entrance to the law school. Offering remarks were US Court of Appeals Chief Judge Sandra Lynch ('71), Boston University President Robert Brown, Dean Maureen O'Rourke, BU Law student Jacquelyn Rex ('15), and Boston Mayor's Office Chief of Staff Daniel Koh. Following the dedication and celebration, class-specific reunions for alumni who graduated in years ending in '4 and '9 were held throughout Boston, while the Law Golden Circle Club (for Class of 1964 and earlier) enjoyed dinner at Del Frisco's in the Seaport.
A number of alumni and their families participated in the group Duck Tour of Boston, held Saturday morning. On Saturday evening, the annual Reunion Gala Dinner & Silver Shingle Awards presentation took place at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, followed by the Sips and Sweets post-gala reception. Thank you to all who made it such a successful weekend! And a particular thanks goes out to all who participated in Reunion Giving and our Building on Excellence campaign. The tremendous support of our alumni and friends has made a real, tangible difference at the School of Law. If you weren't able to visit campus and our newest facility, you can view a slideshow of the Redstone Building. We hope you can see it in person soon!
