To the contrary of mid-20th century predictions, religious affiliation of all kinds is on the rise around the world. From the growth of Pentecostal Christianity in Latin America to the resurgence of Buddhism in East Asia, religious diversity is intensifying. How did we get here, and how does religious diversity impact politics, international affairs, religious practice, and inter-religious dialogue? This conference seeks to tease out these, and other, themes related to the global religious landscape.

Statement on Diversity and Inclusion

The Center for Latin American Studies at Boston University is proud of BU’s history of diversity and inclusion.
